After spending 10 years in the business world, RJ decided to follow his passion for helping others by pursuing his counseling degree. He is a proud father to his beautiful daughter and enjoys spending time with her. RJ also enjoys living an active lifestyle (including participating in triathlons!), the outdoors, and cooking.

Life can be very challenging, often leaving us wishing things had turned out differently. Our most difficult days do not have to define our past, nor determine our future. Hope and healing are available to all individuals as they journey towards creating positive momentum. The road toward healing is challenging as well and wrought with trials, but RJ believes that taking it is the best decision we can make as we seek to enjoy a life well lived. It all starts with deciding to take the first step forward: “Two roads diverged in a wood, and I – I took the one less traveled by, And that has made all the difference.” – Robert Frost
