Ariadne and her husband have two grown daughters and one granddaughter. Even though she thought her professional journey would continue as an interior designer, her desire to serve God was more powerful. Eventually God called her to attend seminary and follow the Marriage and Family Counseling track, which led to a desire to make a difference in the lives of others through counseling. Her affinity is towards resolving conflicts in which unique spiritual, cultural, and individual differences play a factor. Ariadne comes from a multi-cultural background, is fluent in Spanish and German, and has spent many years in other countries around the world. Through her twenty-plus years with the airlines she has developed an understanding of and a familiarity with people from many different walks of life and cultural backgrounds. Ariadne loves spending time reading and researching, Bible studies, jogging, cooking, bike rides, and going for walks with her husband and dog. Her favorite times are spent with her nuclear and extended family (many who live overseas), as well as close friends.

Ariadne believes that every person has the ability to recognize what is causing conflict or anxiety within him/herself, but that often we are too caught up in emotional turmoil to make sense out of our condition. The opportunity to open up and share one's concerns with someone who has the ability to objectively guide the person through empathic counseling, discernment, and genuine support enables holistic healing to develop in mind, body and spirit. With the understanding that this may not happen immediately, Ariadne desires to embark with clients on a journey of discovery and healing that will lead them to personal balance and harmony. She submits to God's authority with a humble attitude, only asking for the Holy Spirit to be always present so that hope, meaning and purpose can be established.
